‘We Wear The Same Shirt’ Campaign

The FAW Trust's role in Welsh football was to manage grassroots and age grade football across the country and increase participaton numbers at all levels.

The 'We Wear the Same Shirt' campaign was created to demonstrate the support available and the positive effects football can have on people coping with mental health issues. ESM worked with the FAW Trust to tell stories from grassroots clubs and individuals showcasing the good work they were doing, the positive impact football was having on people, and to inspire other clubs to do more.

The campaign and its content were supported by European football’s governing body UEFA, who shared the content across their own channels to help the message reach people all across Europe and beyond.
