WE ARE RECRUITING - Freelance Videographers Required! JOBS NOW CLOSED.
We have been blown away by the response to our current freelance positions. We will try our best to reply to everyone, however if you haven’t heard from us by the 16th September then we’re afraid to say you haven’t been successful this time.
WHO IS EATSLEEP MEDIA?
EatSleep Media is a production company making anything from social ads to documentary films such as TOSH which can be viewed on Amazon Prime.
Over the years we’ve toured Wales, talking to football fans and grassroots heroes about their love of the game for the Football Association of Wales.
Launched the FAW’s RedWall+ platform which houses documentaries that have been nominated for RTS Cymru Awards, mini documentaries on clubs and unsung heroes.
We’ve filmed behind the scenes of a brilliant BBC crime drama.
Worked with Sport Wales, Youth Sport Trust, and covered BTCC touring car races talking to the drivers and behind-the-scenes personalities for a TV programme.
And we’ve created BBC radio documentaries on a range of subjects from a cafe that is Wales’ first neurodivergent sanctuary, reimagining life for people with disabilities post Covid, a talkSPORT documentary examining athletes who made the top of their sport from a refugee background and made a whole series of shows for a UK national radio station while, literally, on the run.
We use professional broadcast cameras, audio and editing equipment so all of our content really shines.
We do authentic, we do personality, we do creative, we do innovative, and we bloody well enjoy ourselves while we’re doing it!
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We need freelance videographers with a gift for telling stories. You need to be able to turn any given shooting brief into a beautiful video, bursting with personality.
You need to be comfortable working to tight deadlines on a variety of projects for high profile clients with the flexibility to work from anywhere at any time.
That means one week you could be on a Welsh mountain side as part of a film crew, and the next you could be filming a corporate video in a show home.
We need quality, clarity, efficiency and bucketfuls of top class skills and ideas.
But, we’re also prepared to help nurture your talents.
WHO ARE YOU
You’ll have at least 2 years experience which includes practical filming, editing and other production skills.
You’ll be able to drive, have your own means of transport and be willing to travel.
You’ll be organised and efficient in offloading and sharing footage.
You’ll need to be properly organised and able to work independently while also acting on direction and feedback from your project manager and our clients.
You need to know the ins and outs of archiving material and will be able to put your finger on exactly the clip we need at a moment’s notice.
You need to have ideas and help others in the team to develop their ideas.
Speaking Welsh would be an added bonus.
