Our Wales: For Her
Women's football is the fastest growing sport in Europe and thanks to the 2017 UEFA Women's Champions League being held in Cardiff, Wales women's amazing 2019 World Cup campaign, and the work of the FAW - women's football has grown massively in Wales.
The FAW wanted to produce a video to help launch the next phase of their strategy - Our Wales: For Her. EatSleep Media produced the promotional video to explain the Football Association of Wales’ new Women and Girls strategy.
Working with the FAW we identified the key stories and content which perfectly summed up the vision behind the strategy. Pulling content from our extensive archive shot across the women's game all over Wales we were able to bring to life the strategy in a concise and engaging video.
We used our extensive contacts throughout football to find the right advocates and characters to bring the strategy to life and make the human connections people could identify with. Women's football has since continued to grow and there are more girls and women engaged with football than ever before, as well as Wales' women's team smashing attendance records time and time again.
