Maggie’s provides advice, support and care for people living with cancer across the UK
The Maggie’s cancer centre in Swansea is a vital part of treatment and recovery for a lot of people. During the pandemic though, like a lot of charities and community programmes, Maggie’s suffered a drop in revenue and donations.
Fund-raising is the life-blood of charities like Maggie’s so at EatSleep Media we decided to make a video reminding people that their work carried on. They were still supporting people living with cancer and needed support themselves to continue doing it.
Helped by an old friend of the charity in Swansea, former Wales and Swansea City legend Alan Curtis, we produced a video for Maggie’s to share on their own social media channels talking about the care they provide, the impact the pandemic was having on what they were able to offer and why people’s generosity was needed now more than ever.
